Blogossip #1: On the Map

I am participating in a new vlog meme called …

Blogossip

This month’s topic for Blogossip is “On the Map”! The set of questions are found below, so feel free to join in and answer in your own vlog! And please be sure to link back to it’s creators, the lovely Brittney and Brittany!

Blogossip #1: On the Map from Karen on Vimeo.

1. Where are you from? Meaning: Where were you born, where did you grow up, what is considered your “hometown” and a bit about it?

2. Where have you lived?

3. Where do you live now?

4. Where are you hoping to live?

5. What are a few places you’d like to travel and explore?

  1. Love this! :( It’s so interesting to hear about where people have lived, I think, because naturally those places influence who you become as a person so… I don’t know, it’s just fascinating to me to find out more about my blog buddies this way. :) And I’ve never been to Munich! I’ve grown up so far up in Northern Germany that it’s always been farther away than, say, Amsterdam or Copenhagen or Hamburg or Berlin. (Not that I’m constantly hanging out in any of those cities but- you know.) But my mom and dad actually went for a long weekend last fall which was a dream come true for my dad. He really liked it! He also a big Bayern Munich fan so there’s also that. ;)

I just recently did the Places I’ve Lived post so this would be a little bit redundant but I’m thinking of doing some vlogs like this as well…

  2. Yay Munich! I went to Germany for 10 days when I was 16 and Munich was by far my favourite place (we really only went to Munich and Berlin). On the first night I was scared to try out ‘real’ German food so we ended up at an Italian restaurant called Al Pacino’s :) Ever been?

  3. Hi!! First time commentor! :)

  4. It’s so great to see you talk to hear about how life in your new small town is going. I want to get back to Germany some day as the only time I spent there was largely eaten up by Army training. I did get to spend a day wandering around Munich and I absolutely loved it – it was beautiful!
